SYNC MP Platform Wiki

SYNC MP is a GTA V multiplayer platform with a RAGE:MP-compatible API. A RAGE:MP gamemode — server packages, C# resources, client_packages, CEF UI, DLC packs — runs on it without being rewritten. Under the hood it is our own client and server: alt:V-style internals, our own sync, our own launcher and an encrypted connection.

What's new: see the Changelog.

API reference

The API is RAGE:MP's, 1:1. Every function, property and event has its own page, grouped like on the RAGE:MP wiki. Use the tabs at the top:

  • Server JS — mp.players, mp.vehicles, mp.events, … and server events such as playerJoin
  • Client JS — the RAGE classes (Player, Vehicle, Browser, …), mp.gui, mp.keys, all mp.game.* natives and client events
  • Server C# — NAPI.* and the [ServerEvent] events
  • Client C# — RAGE.Elements, RAGE.Game, RAGE.Events

What is not implemented yet is marked on each page; see API coverage. Platform-specific notes: text, HUD & pause menu, how the client API is built.

  • Server JS runs on V8 with a Node.js compatibility layer (require, fs, path, npm packages that RAGE:MP gamemodes bundle).
  • Server C# runs on .NET 8 (CoreCLR) through the RAGE:MP-compatible GTANetworkAPI.
  • Client JS runs on V8 too — modern JavaScript (arrow functions, classes, async/await).
  • Client C# (RAGE.*) is supported as well.
  • Both server languages can run at the same time and see the same players and entities.
